Honours and decorations play a great part in the culture of Baustralia. Honours refer to membership in various state and chivalric orders, while decorations are medals, and other awards. While this means unit commendations and the like, those are not listed here.
Chest decorations are usually court-mounted, that is mounted on a backing of the same ribbon that suspends the medal, though may be swing-mounted, or bow-mounted for ladies with one medal, either in civilian dress only.
The John Cross is awarded to members of the Armed Forces, or for extraordinary civilian valour, in the defence or service of Baustralia.
The King's Wounded Cross is awarded to persons wounded in the defence or service of Baustralia.
The Order of the Gadus is the highest-ranking chivalric honour, and is awarded for exceptional personal service to the Sovereign, the Realms, or for advancing the micronational stage as a whole.
