Baustralia is broken up into 10 constituences, each electing one member of Parliament. These consituencies may range in size from multiple counties to a individual municipality.
The upper house. Lords Royal, Spiritual, and Appellant sit by dignity or office; Lords Temporal sit by party, with independents on the crossbenches. Peers who sit in the Commons are disqualified.
The lower house. Members are elected by constituency. The Speaker of the House of Commons sits apart from the party benches.
