The Right Worshipful the Honourable A. Ward MP
Asa Ward joined Baustralia in August 2025, when he ran in the August 2025 general election under the Progressive Liberal Party label as Member of Parliament for the Whiskey Islands. In February 2026, Ward was appointed to junior minister in the Internal Affairs Ministry as the Minister of State for Immigration, Local Government and Electoral Reform, which he held until 2 June 2026. Ward was thereafter appointed a cabinet minister as Chief Secretary for the Treasury, a position he holds today. Ward also has held the position of Lord Mayor of the Whiskey Islands since May 2026.
